One evening when I was picking up some fish and chips for our tea, I took a little detour down to the pebble ridge. I walked up over the ‘bridge’ near the lifeboat hut, and the tide, time and weather was perfect to create the most beautiful sunset! I had a guilty little moment all to myself, sitting on the warm rocks, watching people enjoying an evening dip in the golden water and it just felt good, you know? One of those lovely, calm moments to savour. I knew I wanted to paint it, so I saved the photo and here’s the result.
