Treat yourself or a loved one to an original illustrated portrait, painted by a real person (me!) – no AI in sight! These postcard-sized portraits are painted in my live illustration style.
Pick an option to suit you, pay online, then I will get in touch via email to request your reference photos. Please make sure that you enter your email address correctly at checkout (and check your junk emails for my reply). If you don’t hear from me within two days after you’ve purchased, please get in touch via my contact form.
Please note, it may take 4-6 weeks to receive the painting in the post. If your order is more urgent, please let me know.
Postage and packaging is £5. UK postage only, sorry.
Things to remember when commissioning a portrait:
- These are stylised illustrations – while I make every attempt to capture the essence of the person, I am unable to guarantee an exact likeness.
- Reference photos must be clear, well lit and high quality (phone photos are generally fine).
- If you would like a portrait of more than one person, they will ideally be in the same reference photo. I can possibly merge photos, but this will need to be discussed before purchase please.
- Reference photos should show a front view of the person/people, standing or sitting. If you are looking for an alternative pose, please get in touch to discuss before purchase.
- If the artwork is to include a pet or anything else, please get in touch to discuss before purchase.
- I cannot change photos – what I see is what I paint. I can’t move people’s positions, or change the background.
- All original artworks are posted unframed and unmounted.
OPTIONS:
All portraits come with a subtly coloured watercolour wash background as standard – please specify a colour in the notes section, or leave blank for me to choose.
There is an option to upgrade to an illustrated background authentic to the reference photo, please see upgrade option below.
A6 portraits – 105mm x 148mm
A6 portrait of one person – a postcard-sized, head and shoulders or head to waist portrait in ink and watercolour on watercolour paper – £15
A6 portrait of two people together – a postcard-sized, head and shoulders or head to waist portrait in ink and watercolour, on watercolour paper – £20
A6 portrait of three people together – a postcard-sized, head and shoulders or head to waist portrait in ink and watercolour, on watercolour paper – £25
A6 portrait of four people together (or two adults and three children) – a postcard-sized, head and shoulders or head to waist portrait in ink and watercolour, on watercolour paper – £28 (this may be portrait or landscape in orientation, depending on the supplied photo.
Upgrade A6 portrait to a background authentic to the photo (please note, background must not include other people.) +£15
