LIVE BOOKINGS
1. Bookings over 4 hours must include a short meal break.
2. 25% deposit required 6 months prior to the wedding/event. Deposit is non-refundable. Deposit is transferable to a different date if it needs to be changed, pending my availability.
PAYMENT
3. The client shall pay all invoices before the event. Final invoice is due to be paid 2 months before booking. The Illustrator may cancel the commission if the final invoice is not paid within 30 days.
CANCELLATION
4. If a commission is cancelled by the Client, the Illustrator will make a refund of any payment made, excluding the 25% deposit. The 25% deposit is non-refundable.
WARRANTIES
5. Except where artwork is based on reference material or visuals supplied by the Client or where otherwise agreed, the Illustrator warrants that the artwork is original and does not infringe any existing copyright and further warrants that she/he has not used the artwork elsewhere.
6. The Client warrants that any necessary permissions have been obtained for the agreed use of reference material or visuals supplied by the Client or its customer and shall indemnify the Illustrator against any and all claims and expenses including reasonable legal fees arising from the Illustrator’s use of any materials provided by the Client or its customer.
OWNERSHIP OF ARTWORK
7. The client shall retain ownership of all artwork delivered.
8. The Illustrator’s original artwork shall not be intentionally destroyed, damaged, altered, retouched, modified or changed in any way whatsoever without the consent of the Illustrator.
CREDITS/MORAL RIGHTS

9. The Client shall ensure the Illustrator is credited in any editorial use of the artwork. Credits for non-editorial use are not required unless so indicated on this form.
10. The Illustrator is entitled to use all Illustrations for self promotion purposes with copyright credited to the client.
11. The Illustrator hereby waives the right to injunctive relief for breaches of the right of integrity and the right of paternity.
NOTICES
12. All notices shall be sent to the illustrator and to the client at the addresses stated in this agreement. Each party shall give written notification of any change of address to the other party prior to any such change.
GOVERNING LAW
13. These terms and conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales and may not be varied except by agreement in writing. The parties hereto submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
PHOTOGRAPHY
14. The client agrees for the artist to be able to post photographs and video clips from the wedding that feature their work for self promotional purposes on social media and printed marketing materials.
